A 15th century castle ruin set beside the River Boyne near Navan in Ireland


Situated on the Northwest bank of the River Boyne, Dunmoe Castle was built in the 15th century and was home to the D'Arcy family.

During the Irish Rebellion of 1798, the castle was burned down.
Originally rectangular in shape with 4 turret towers, only 2 remain intact today. Its rear wall now longer exists.
