Turoe Pet Farm in Loughrea, Co. Galway, Ireland opened in 1993 and today is one of the leading visitor attractions in the West of Ireland.
Turoe Pet Farm
Turoe Pet Farm is home to a wide variety of animals including pigs, cockerels, ponies, rabbits, donkeys, goats, ducks, Scottish highland cows, lamas and many more! Visitors get the opportunity to feed some of the animals.
Play areas
Inflatable City is an 8,000 square foot bouncy castle with 6 foot, 12 foot and 25 foot length slides.
Jungle Town is a 'state of the art activity centre' offering a large slide, tunnel, ball ponds and zip line based over two stories
Picnic and Nature Trail
Take the Hawthorn Walk and discover within the 14 acre farm, Larry the Llama, a Alpaca called Curly and a friendly goat called Macy. Don't forget to say hello to Dundee the crocodile. Picnic areas are available for visitors to enjoy their lunches.
The Turoe Stone
Situated in the grounds of Turoe Pet Farm, visitors can admire The Turoe Stone, a ritual stone dating back to the 2nd or 3rd century B.C. In the 1850's the stone was moved from its original site, near the Rath of Feerwore, an Iron-Age ring-fort structure, at nearby Kiltullagh.
