A neolithic stone circle near Gleninchaquin Park on the Beara Peninsula

Turn off the ring of Beara and follow the valley passing Cloonee Lough and you'll find the Uragh Stone Circle standing on the North side of Lough Inchiquin, just a few minutes walk from the parking area.

This neolithic stone circle consists of five megaliths, the largest of which is ten feet high. The circle itself is eight feet in diameter.
Lough Inchiquin and Gleninchaquin park provide the backdrop on this beautiful part of the Beara Peninsula.
