If you are exploring the Ring of Kerry, take some time off the coast road and enjoy the centre of the Iveragh Peninsula.

Between Glenbeigh and Killorglin on the north of the Peninsula, follow the picturesque road along Lough Caragh up to Lickeen Forest the pretty Blackstones Bridge.

Stop anywhere along the way to enjoy the wonderful views of Lough Caragh backed by the Macgillycuddy's Reeks mountains. Take a picnic and follow the endless walks and trails through Lickeen Forest. Stop at Blackstones Bridge and follow the path along the river past the fishing shelters.
