A 15th-century tower on the edge of Lough Leane, in Killarney National Park

Ross Castle is a 15th-century tower and the ancestral home of the O'Donoghue clan. It sits on the edge of Lough Leane, in Killarney National Park, County Kerry.

The tower is open to the public seasonally with guided tours at regular intervals throughout the day. You are able to walk around the grounds of the castle and boat trips on Lough Leane depart from a jetty just in front of the castle.

Ross Castle is one of Killarney's main tourist attractions.
